How does anti-gravity water work?

Aim: I'm gonna make anti-gravity water trick
Equipment: You need water, a glass, and a cloth or handkerchief.
Method:
1.)Place the cloth over the glass
2.) Use your hand to push a depression into the fabric so you can more easily fill the glass and also helps wet material.
3.) fill the glass about three-quarters full of water.
4.) Pull the fabric tightly over the glass.
5.) Quickly flip the glass, using a hand to hold the fabric tight. Alternatively, you can put one hand over the top of the glass, while using the other to hold the material tight and slowly invert the glass.
Pull the hand over the glass away.

Observation: The water didn't go through

Discussion:
Anti-gravity is creating a place or object that is free from the force of gravity. It does not refer to the lack of weight under gravity experienced in free fall or to balancing the force of gravity with some other force such as electromagnetism or aerodynamic force. Electromagnetism is an interaction of electric currents or fields and magnetic fields. Aerodynamic force is the force exerted on a body by the air which the body is immersed and is due to the relative motion between the body and the gas, an example of an aerodynamic force is an aeroplane.
How this anti-gravity trick works?
In this trick, water has high surface tension. The water molecules absorbed into the fabric hold onto other water molecules inside the water glass. Even though there are gaps in the fabric, the attraction between water molecules overcome the force of the gravity trying to pull the water down. Surface tension is the tendency of the fluid surfaces to shrink into the minimum surface area possible that allows insects, usually denser than water to float and slide on a water surface.
Examples of surface tension
* The rounded shape of water droplets on a surface is due to surface tension
* Oil and water separate because of the tension between two dissimilar liquids. In this case, "interface tension" but it is simply a type of surface tension between two liquids.
* Surface allows some insects and other small animals which are denser than water, to across the surface without sinking like a water strider, mosquitos, and dragonflies.

How the surface tension works? At the interface between liquid and atmosphere (air), the liquid is more attracted to each other than they are to the air molecules. In other words, the force of cohesion (a measure of how well molecules stick to each other group or group together, also means stick or stay together) is greater than force adhesion. Because the two forces are not in balance, the surface may be considered to be under tension as if it's like enclose by an elastic membrane ( hence term of surface tension ). The effect of cohesion versus adhesion is that there's an inward force at the surface layer. This is because the top layer of a molecule is not surrounded by liquid.
The surface tension is also like capillary action, capillary action is an ability of a liquid to flow in narrow spaces without the assistance like liquid rising inside a straw, paper towel absorbing water, and sponge.

Anti-gravity trick

Evaluation:
During the experiment, I made a mistake because I didn't hold the fabric tight then the container slips in my hand cuz the container is kinda bigger than my hands and also use a handkerchief so you can easily see the water in the container/glass. I am proud of what I did in my experiment it was fun doing it and it only takes 5 mins to do it. If I want to learn more about anti-gravity I would do a research about the anti-gravity wheel and how does it work.
