What three items would be best to have if you were lost in the mountains in New Zealand in winter? The three items that would be the best, in my opinion, would be plastic sheets, 10 litres of oil/petrol, and an axe. I believe that these items are very useful if I were in the mountains in New Zealand.
The item plastic sheet is very advantageous in my opinion. With the item plastic sheet, I can use it for water when it rains. Collecting water is very important because all humans can survive water for 7 days without food. It always rains in the mountains so it could be very useful for survival. Also, I could also use it for shelter when it’s cold so that I could warm myself up inside. Plastic sheets are very useful when collecting water for survival.
The second item that I picked is 10 litre of petrol/petrol. I believe that this item is very useful because you can use it as a fire. Also, it can be used for giving signals because of the smoke. With the smoke, some people will see it even if it is far away. This is why petrol is very useful to give signals for survival.
The last item that I picked is an axe. The reason why the axe is very advantageous is that you can hunt animals for food. Aside from the food, you can also cut some woods and build a shelter with the woods that you cut. Axe can be a lifesaver from the predator animals as well such as hawks, wild boars and wild cats. The axe is very advantageous when it comes to hunting food, building a shelter and saving yourself from dangerous animals.
If you are in the mountains, I would recommend you to bring these items just in case you are lost.
